1/5
Automan is one of those series from the golden period (1 season 83-84) with a scifi-theme seemingly tailored for me. Guilty pleasure almost.
2/5
Re-watched the first season of Chocky and it was still quite good. Remake please.
3/5
The first two seasons of Sliders are worth watching. Ignore the rest. If you are a fan of episodic sci-fi and don't mind a bit dated 90s special effects you should really give this gem a try!
4/5
The very enjoyable TV-adaptation of the movie series (6 seasons 92-98)
5/5
The V mini-series (2 episodes 1983) may look low budget but is still quite enjoyable if you can overlook the outdated special effects. The acting and plot is way better than any modern adaptation of the same material.

A very beautiful and dreamy tv-series about a Mushishi or Mushi-master, similar to a healer or shaman who treats ailments caused by Mushi, strange insect-like creatures existing between worlds, deeply rooted in Japanese culture. The series is episodic and follows Ginkgo who roams the serene Japanese countryside to seek out Mushi and deal with their effects on humans and the surrounding natural world. Perfect series to watch to unwind before the night. Also, a rare example where the English dub is actually really good, so you don't necessarily have to watch the Japanese version.

I have never played the game this tv-series is based on, League of Legends, but that didn't matter at all. Overall I was truly impressed by the series and strongly recommend it! Beautifully made, well-crafted characters, great score and atmosphere.

Here's a list of 10 recommended anime movies (in no particular order). Try to avoid the dubbed versions because a lot of character is usually lost in translation.

Here's a list of 7 recommended anime tv-series (in no particular order). Many of the series in this list have multiple incarnations, specials and also movies but generally I would recommend watching at least the first season. But beware, some series becomes less great after season one. Hunter x Hunter for instance has many many episodes and I personally only enjoyed the first part with the "hunter exam". One Punch Man is also great in season 1 but season 2 was a bit pointless. Also, please try to avoid the dubbed versions because a lot of character is usually lost in translation.

This tv-series was kind of life changing for me I must admit. I don't know why but I felt very different after watching it. It's scary, but not so much in the conventional way. It's a very deep existential dread that fills you instead. But I have noticed that lots of people seem a bit underwhelmed though so don't get to excited!

I saw this film when it was released in 2007 and remember I liked it, but couldn't remember anything about in particular. Have just re-watched it and still enjoyed it. I would describe it a bit like a low budget "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" perhaps. That feeling of strangeness and something broken. It's quite slow and confusing, but rewarding in the end. I'm posting about it here because I feel it deserves more attention. It's a bit late perhaps but I rarely see this film on lists with underrated movies and such, which it surely is. The Trailer makes it look like a scary ghost movie or something. It's not.
